In times past, balusters were turned on the job site, allowing for perfect, architectural alignment of the upper blocks and turnings with lower baluster blocks that were parallel to the treads. In the early 1900's, stair parts became standardized and a single stair angle and rake rail height was established to allow for alignment when using "off-the-shelf" products. However, the stairs of today vary widely due to the different regional code specifications (different angles, different rake rail heights, and varying number of balusters per tread) which results in uneven alignment of the top blocks. The only solution was to redesign the house plans or invest in the expense of custom turnings...until now.
Tru-Line is the only stair system available that allows perfect alignment of the upper baluster blocks with the historically correct look of even lower baluster squares. They are perfect at any stair angle. Perfect at any rake rail height. Perfect for any number of baluster per tread.
